Mike Ullrich Named CHL Rookie of the Month for November

TULSA, OK - Oilers center Mike Ullrich is the 50/50 Central/CHL Rookie of the Month for November the league announced Friday. Ullrich has 20 points for the season and 18 of those points were scored in the month of November.

With 12 goals on the season, Ullrich leads Tulsa in scoring and is tied for the league lead heading into tonight's contest with Bloomington. The 6'2" 203 pound native of Banff, Alberta has shown the ability to consistently bury the puck and spark the Oilers offense. Playing on Tulsa's top line with Dylan Clarke and Ryan Cramer, Ullrich is averaging more than a point per game and has registered at least one point in 11 of the last 14 games.

Ullrich, a 25-year old out of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, has five multiple-point games this season and notched his first career hat-trick on November 22 with three goals in the second period against Arizona.

For his achievement, Ullrich will receive a special gift courtesy of 50/50 Central and the CHL.

The Oilers are back in action tonight when they take on the Bloomington Blaze at 7:35pm at the BOK Center. It is the first of four meetings this season between the two teams.
