Killer Bees Sign Blueliner Trevor Hunt

Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees News Release


The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees, proud affiliates of the Florida Panthers and San Antonio Rampage, announced on Friday that they have signed defenseman Trevor Hunt. Hunt joins the Bees from the ECHL where he suited up from three separate squads last season.

Hunt played a majority of his games with the Wheeling Nailers last season where he scored three goals and registered four assists in his 27 games along with racking up 38 penalty minutes. Hunt started the season with the Stockton Thunder and finished with the Las Vegas Wranglers.

Before turning professional Hunt competed at the University of Alaska-Anchorage and the Chilliwack Chiefs of the BCHL.

In addition to signing Hunt the Bees placed defenseman Charles Fontaine of the 30-Day Injured Reserved list retroactive to the game on November 26.
