Mike Sullivan Joins Dragons

DAYTON, OHIO-The Dayton Dragons announced the following roster changes today:

Left-handed pitcher Mike Sullivan has been promoted to Dayton from extended spring training.

Right-handed pitcher Scott Brattvet has been promoted from Dayton to Louisville.

The Dragons roster remains at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.

Sullivan, 21, has not played in an official game in 2015. He was signed by the Reds after being selected in the 19th round of the 2014 draft out of Gloucester County College in New Jersey, where he was a teammate of current Dragons outfielder Narciso Crook. Sullivan played for the the Arizona League Reds last summer, making 17 relief appearances and going 1-2 with a 1.93 earned run average. He struck out 27 batters in 18.2 innings. At Gloucester County College, he went 16-0 with a 0.83 ERA over two seasons.

Brattvet appeared in 17 games for the Dragons, all as a reliever, going 1-2 with a 1.80 ERA.

The Dragons play at the South Bend Cubs tonight at 7:05 p.m. The next home game is Friday night vs. the Lake County Captains (Cleveland Indians affiliate) at Fifth Third Field at 7:00.
