
Bandits Games Among the Most Affordable for Families

DAVENPORT, Iowa (June 17, 2015) - Affordable entertainment is a signature of the Modern Woodmen Park experience, and recently released statistics from Minor League Baseball show the cost of attending a Quad Cities River Bandits game offers some of the best value for families nationwide.
A family of four can attend a River Bandits game at Modern Woodmen Park for $55 - nearly 15 percent more affordable than the Class-A average of $64.46 and national average of $64.24 for a family to attend a Minor League Baseball game at one of the 160 ballparks in the 14 domestic-based leagues. The price includes parking, two adult tickets, two child tickets, four small hot dogs, two sodas, two beers and a program or scorecard. For every item, the River Bandits offer more affordable prices than the average at their level and nationwide.
"We always seek to offer families across the Quad Cities region an unbeatable value an unbeatable value for entertainment and fun," said River Bandits owner Dave Heller. "A game at Modern Woodmen Park is one of the best deals in the country, and with our promotional lineup, ticket and concession specials, and amusement rides, the savings and entertainment only get better!"
The River Bandits regularly offer discounts on tickets and concessions, with a different promotion each day of the week. On Military Mondays presented by Performance Food Group, 97X and ESPN 93.5, all veterans and active military can purchase $1 bleacher tickets for their families. On Dew for Twosdays presented by Pepsi, WOC and Q106.5, tickets are 2-for-1, and fans who bring an old can of Mountain Dew to the ballpark can exchange it for a 16-oz. Mountain Dew voucher. IHMVCU members also have 2-for-1 ticket specials on Wednesdays and Thursdays. All fans can enjoy $2 drink specials on Thirst-Day Thursdays presented by 104.9 The Hawk, ESPN 93.5 and the River Cities' Reader. Group outings and picnics offer even more savings over the regular admission and concession prices.

Ticket prices are based on the most economical fixed seat in a stadium on a typical night at the ballpark.
