Mega 50/50 Jackpot Announced for Saturday, February 26th

PRINCE GEORGE, BC- The Prince George Cougars, the Prince George Community Foundation (PGCF), and Prince George Downtown Rotary are excited to announce the next Mega 50/50 Jackpot on Mardi Gras Night on Saturday, February 26th against the Portland Winterhawks.

The winner is guaranteed $30,000 and Mega 50/50 Jackpot tickets can be purchased online starting at 9:00 am on Monday, February 14th, through the Cougars 50/50 Society page (Must be 19 plus; know your limit, play within it).

The guaranteed $60,000 jackpot is sponsored by Wood Wheaton Supercentre and proceeds will be donated to a proposed multi-sport family adventure park being planned by the PGCF and Rotary.

"When the idea of building a park for all ages was suggested we eagerly became involved," said Prince George Downtown Rotary Club President, Rod Holmes. "One of the biggest things about living in Prince George is the variety of recreational opportunities. This park will bring even more diverse and inclusive activities for people to enjoy.

"Our vision is to construct a park with different recreation areas that allows everyone, regardless of age and abilities, to embrace the outdoors. We are thrilled to be working with Rotary on this exciting initiative," commented Mindy Stroet, Director of Development with the PGCF.

"At Wood Wheaton Supercentre we embrace challenge, invite change and engage innovation to champion growth in our people, our community and our busines," says Wood Wheaton Supercentre Sales Manager Mark Chester. "Our support of this Mega Park meets the community portion of this mission statement as well as the growth of the people we work with every day. We are excited and extremely proud to participate in what we hope will be the biggest Mega 50/50 draw ever so we can kick start this park and expand healthy activities offered in our community to aid in its growth and the enjoyment of the people who live here. "

February 26th is the first ever Mardi Gras Night at the CN Centre. Mardi Gras Night will be one of the biggest parties of the year filled with excitement and action.
