
Mechanics Host Guns N' Hoses

Fraser, MI â The Motor City Mechanics are set to host the 1st Annual Guns vs. Hoses charity hockey game on Friday, January 28th, 2005.
The charity hockey game, which will begin at 5:00 pm, will benefit the Macomb County Sheriff's Department and the Fraser Fire Department. Law enforcement officials will be playing to benefit the Macomb County Sheriff's Department Honor Guard, while the Fire Department will also be playing to aid their Honor Guard. $3 for every ticket sold through each department will support their respective charity.
The evenings events will be highlighted by events including a S.W.A.T team tank and fire truck on display outside the arena, a ceremonial puck drop from members of both the police and fire departments, in addition to kids activities and prize giveaways.
The Guns vs. Hoses game will be immediately followed by the Motor City Mechanics battling the Fort Wayne Komets at 7:30 pm. Tickets for the Mechanics game will also be valid for entry into the Guns vs. Hoses charity game. The Mechanics and 106.7 The Drive will also host the Mini-Mite All-Stars, as well as a Pepsi All-Star poster giveaway featuring Mechanics All-Star Kevin Hansen. Following the game, there will be an autograph session with Hansen on the concourse.
