4/21: GAME ONE: WINGS TAKE 1-0 SERIES LEAD
Adam Edinger scored the first playoff goal in franchise history but it was not enough as the Mechanics fell 2-1. Edingers goal came at 10:31 of the first period. The lead only lasted six minutes and 10 seconds as the Wings scored one in the first and one in the second.
Rod Branch made 30 saves in defeat in his first playoff game for the Mechanics.

- 4/22: GAME TWO: WINGS SHUTOUT MECHANICS 3-0
In game two the Wings took control and held on as the game winning goal was scored with 1:20 left in the first period. Dustin Virag tallied the goal while Nick Bootland scored two goals of his own. Joel Martin was stellar in net making 26 saves to earn his 1st shutout of the playoffs and 10th of the season.
Rod Branch made 37 saves in defeat.

- 4/23: GAME THREE: MECHANICS FALL IN 3-0 HOLE
The Wings took an 8-0 lead before the Mechanics could finally get one past Wings goaltender Joel Martin. Adam Edinger recorded his second goal of the playoffs followed up by a Brent Gretzky goal. The Wings would add another goal before "The Mangler" could tally the Mechanics third goal. Rod Branch made 17 saves and Bill Ruggiero made 11 saves in a brief relief appearance.

Wednesday, April 26th: MECHANICS LOOK TO TAKE GAME 4 AND EXTEND THE SERIES
Game four stays in Fraser at the Great Lakes Sports City with a 7:30 PM face-off. The Mechanics need to win to extend their season.
Saturday, April 29th: If Necessary the Mechanics will travel to Kalamazoo on Saturday to pay game 5.
If necessary the WIngs and Mechanics will face-off for game 5 in Kalamazoo. Face-off is 7:30 PM.
