
Bell Leaving Otters To Join Royal Canadian Mounted Police

St. Charles, MO --- The Missouri River Otters of the United Hockey League announced today that center Chris Bell is leaving the team to join the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Bell, 28, will play in his final home game tonight against Rockford, and his last game in an Otters uniform will be Saturday, January 15 in Muskegon. The British Columbia-native is fourth on the team with 24 points in 37 games.
"Chris will definitely be missed, both on and off the ice," River Otters Head Coach Kevin Kaminski said. "The River Otters coaches, players, and staff wish him the best in his new endeavors."
After tonight's game against the IceHogs, the team will host a going away party for Bell in the Family Arena's Locker Room Bar & Grill. All fans are welcome to attend.
