The Kelowna Rockets downed the Kamloops Blazers 4-3 on Saturday night at the Sandman Centre in Kamloops, B.C.
Both Turner McMillen and Colton Dach scored a pair of goals for the Rockets. Playing in his 100th WHL regular-season game, Colton Dach earned first star honours after posting his fifth career multi-goal game.
Netminder Talyn Boyko picked up his sixth win of the season after making 33 saves.
Matthew Seminoff (12) opened the game's scoring 1:18 into it. Colton Dach (10) and Connor Levis (4) traded goals in the opening frame.
Trailing by one in the second, Colton Dach (11) and Turner McMillen (3) scored to push the Rockets ahead for the first time.
Caedan Bankier (9) went end to end to tie the game just before the midway point of the third. While parked out in front of the Blazers net, McMillen (4) popped in Max Graham's rebound.
The Rockets power play went one-for-two, while the penalty kill shut down both of Kamloops' chances on the man advantage.
Kamloops outshot Kelowna 36-33.
The Rockets are now 11-6-0-2. Their road trip continues on Tuesday night against the Seattle Thunderbirds in Kent, Was., puck drop is set for 7:05 pm.
