McDonald's High School Basketball Players of the Month Named

FORT WAYNE, IN (January 9th, 2015) - The Fort Wayne Mad Ants and McDonald's have partnered to recognize two outstanding high school basketball players in the Fort Wayne community. In December, McDonald's and the Mad Ants selected Sean McGee and Karissa McLaughlin as the McDonald's High School Players of the Month. Both players will be recognized at an upcoming Mad Ants home game.
Sean McGee, a Senior guard from North Side High School, led his team to a victory in the SAC Holiday Tournament Championship game. During the tournament he also set a tournament and team record scoring 47 points against South Side. McGee was averaging 25 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds as 2014 came to a close.
Karissa McLaughlin, a Sophomore at Homestead High School, has been putting up big numbers as she scored 34 points in a victory over Mooresville. She also led her team with 25 points as Homestead captured the championship in the Greenfield-Central tournament.
