
McCann Named to Team Orr; BMO Top Prospects Game

In a CHL announcement earlier this afternoon, Soo Greyhounds 2nd-year centreman JARED MCCANN was named of 40 players to take part in the BMO/CHL Top Prospects game next month in Calgary.
"Though this is not a surprising announcement, it is still a very special day for us to see Jared named to the CHL Top Prospects game. He joins Matthew Murray and Darnell Nurse as present members of our team who have participated in this very prestigious part of the NHL Entry Draft process. Throughout this season, Jared has proven to be one of our most valuable players showing the ability to produce points at an elite clip while carrying excellent possession numbers versus top competition in our League. We are extremely proud of Jared's accomplishment today and look forward to him participating in the BMO Top Prospects Game on January 15 in Calgary" stated Hounds GM Kyle Dubas.
The London, ON product is in his 2nd season with the Hounds and has posted 16 goals and 18 assists (34 points) in 30 games played.
