Brody Milne and Steven Janes each had a pair of goals and Alex Fotinos made 39 saves as the Spitfires doubled the Peterborough Petes, 4-2, in front of 4,879 at the WFCU Centre Thursday night.

Milne (2G, 1A) and Janes scored less than a minute apart early in the second period, giving Windsor a lead they would not relinquish.

Milne has fit right into the Windsor lineup since he was acquired from the Guelph Storm earlier this month, and now has seven points in four games since joining the Spitfires.

After allowing goals to Anthony Stefano and Jonatan Tanus, Fotinos locked down the Windsor goal, stopping all 16 shots he faced in the third period.

His biggest save of the game came on a Stefano penalty shot after Slater Koekkoek hauled him down on a breakaway midway through the middle stanza.

Josh Ho-Sang and Remy Giftopoulos each chipped in a pair of assists in the win.

With the victory, the Spits are now unbeaten in regulation in their last six games (5-0-1-0).

Windsor heads out on a three-game road swing with stops in Barrie and Owen Sound this weekend, before they take on the Saginaw Spirit back at the WFCU Centre on December 28th .
