Elmira Jackals News Release
The Elmira Jackals announced Friday that forward Brock McBride has been returned to the team from the AHL's Houston Aeros. The Jackals, who host the Trenton Devils tonight at 7:35 p.m., also announced that they have loaned defenseman Marc-Antoine Desnoyers to the AHL's Peoria Rivermen.
McBride has appeared in six games with the Jackals this season, five to begin the season and one at the end of November, and has registered at least a point in all contests (2g-7a). In his second pro season, the Cornwall, Ontario product has produced three goals and three assists for six points in 18 games with the Aeros. The Jackals had initially loaned McBride to Houston on Oct. 28 and received him back from the Aeros on Nov. 28 for one game before McBride returned for more action with Houston.
Desnoyers has four points (0g-4a) and is +4 in 12 games in his rookie season with the Jackals. He began the season with the AHL's Hamilton Bulldogs but did not see any regular-season game action. A native of St. Jerome, Quebec, Desnoyers led Drummondville (QMJHL) defensemen last season with 18 goals, 36 assists and 54 points.
Elmira drops the puck on Holiday Photo Night at First Arena tonight at 7:35 p.m. and will be sporting special Santa Claus jerseys to celebrate the holiday season. For tickets, call (607) 734-PUCK (7825), visit the First Arena Box Office, or log onto JackalsHockey.com.
