The Loons struck first in the second when Travis Vetters launched an RBI-double off the left-center field wall to score Brian Mathews making it 1-0 in favor of the Loons.
Wisconsin answered in the fourth on Joe Dunigan's RBI double to tie the game at one.
In the bottom of the fifth, the Loons had runners on the corners, taking the lead when Preston Mattingly scored amidst a rundown of Erik Kanaby between first and second to give the Loons a 2-1 lead.
