
Matt Sheridan wins Ed Kotowich Good Guy Award

WINNIPEG, MB â A BIG man with a BIG heart won the "Good Guy Award."
Offensive Lineman Matt Sheridan won the Ed Kotowich Good Guy Award for the 2004 season. Sheridan earned the honor for best combining football ability, team camaraderie and extraordinary effort off the field in the community.
Sheridan is in his fourth season with the Blue Bombers and in his time with the Club he has established himself as a leader in the Winnipeg community. He has deep roots in Winnipeg as a graduate of Silver Heights Collegiate and the University of Manitoba.
Sheridan was chosen in the 6th Round (40th overall) of the 2000 Canadian College Draft.
Sheridan participated in the Football Club's Stay in School Program, Basketball and Hockey Team, and I Love to Read Month. Along with these programs he's been involved with many other non profit groups Child Find Manitoba, Special Olympics and Football Manitoba.
