Martin Off To Lowell

(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo of the ECHL announced today that defenseman P.J. Martin has signed a player tryout agreement with the Lowell Lock Monsters of the American Hockey League.

P.J. returns to the AHL where appeared in 5 games a season ago. Martin has played in 15 career AHL games with 6 different teams, and has one assist in those contests. This season, the Storm captain has scored 4 goals and added 8 assists in 11 games. P.J. extended his season high 9 game point streak with a goal against Reading Friday night. Martin is the seventh Storm Player to be recalled to AHL this season. The previous six are: Jeff Lang (Cleveland), Ken Magowan (Philadelphia), Scooter Smith (Portland), Todd Jackson (Grand Rapids), Jonathan Tremblay (Cleveland), and Joey MacDonald (Grand Rapids). Lowell is in Portland tonight, before a home date with Bridgeport on December 2nd.
