Canucks Recall McVicar; Moose Sign Centomo to PTO

The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose, announced they have recalled goaltender Robert McVicar. As a result, the Moose have signed goaltender Sebastien Centomo to a Pro Tryout Contract.

McVicar, 23, has dressed for four games with Vancouver this season, but has not appeared in a game thus far. The Brandon, MB native has played in six games so far this year with Manitoba, recording a 3-3-0 mark with a 3.03 goals against average and a .901 save percentage.

Centomo, 24, has appeared in eight games so far this season with the Oklahoma City Blazers of the ECHL. In those eight appearances, the Laval, PQ native has a mark of 3-5-0 with a goals against average of 3.23 and a save percentage of .900. Centomo has appeared in 83 career games in the American Hockey League - all with the St. John's Maple Leafs from 2001-04. He has a career AHL goals against average of 3.12 and a save percentage of .905. Centomo has also appeared in one game with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2001-02 where he stopped 12 shots in two periods of play, allowing three goals.
