
Marlies Win Another Overtime Thriller

Toronto Marlies News Release
Playing their third game in as many days, the Toronto Marlies emerged victorious in a shootout versus the Rockford Ice Hogs. For the second time this weekend the Marlies needed extra hockey to secure the win, this time in the shootout after a scoreless 60 minutes. After 4 straight goals in the shootout from both teams, the following two shooters were unable to score. Greg McKegg, Toronto's fifth shooter would convert the eventual winner. The story of the night however was Antoine Bibeau who was stellar in his first professional shutout making 33 saves, including 3 saves in the shootout.
- Shots were 33-29 in favour of Rockford.
- Toronto is 3 for 3 in overtime/shootout games this season.
