
Wild Assigns Baldwin to Alaska

DES MOINES, Iowa - Iowa Wild General Manager Jim Mill announced on Tuesday that defenseman Corbin Baldwin has been assigned to the Alaska Aces, Iowa's ECHL affiliate.
The third-year defender played in two games for Iowa this season, recording two penalty minutes. The 6-foot-5, 215-pounder played in 64 games for Iowa last season, leading the team with 129 penalty minutes. The Winnipeg, MB native has played in 70 AHL games over his career, setting up two goals and collecting 138 minutes in penalties.
The Wild continues a four-game home stand by welcoming Charlotte Checkers for a two-game set at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24 and Saturday Oct. 25. Friday the 24th is College Night, featuring $2 beers, presented by the 100.3 The Bus. College students receive a $5.00 ticket with proof of a college ID. Saturday night is Youth Sports Night, where the first 1,500 youths (12 and under) receives a White Iowa Wild home jersey, compliments of NASH FM. Prior to Saturday's game, the Wild and NASH 97.3 FM will host a pregame Tailgate Party from 4 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. in the parking lot at Third St. and Crocker. The party includes free hot dogs to the first 500 fans and live music from the Ripp-Chords. Fans may play street hockey, dunk tank, car smash and participate in many more games.
The Iowa Wild 2014-15 season is presented by Mercy Medical Center, it runs from October through April. Fans may purchase seats to see any of the team's 38 regular season home games at Wells Fargo Arena. Season tickets to see the Wild play at Wells Fargo Arena start at just $9 per game.
