
National Anthem Girl to Perform at Toyota Frozen Dome Classic

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that Janine Stange will sing the "Star Spangled Banner" prior to puck drop when the Crunch host the Utica Comets in the Toyota Frozen Dome Classic at the Carrier Dome Nov. 22 at 7 p.m.
Stange, who has come to be known as "The National Anthem Girl," made history by completing her mission to sing the "Star Spangled Banner" in all 50 states in time for the 200th anniversary of Francis Scott Key penning the lyrics for the hallowed song, Sept. 14. Stange, a Long Island, N.Y. native, became the first person to sing the National Anthem in all 50 states when she performed at a Tennessee Titans preseason game Aug. 28. She began her quest in Florida on July 3, 2012. Among her 50 stops, Stange performed for MLB, NBA, NFL and NHL crowds and was featured on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams, Fox and Friends and the Today Show. Tickets to the Toyota Frozen Dome Classic are on sale now and range in price from $20 to $50. Discount ticket prices are available for groups of 15 or more people. Tickets can be purchased either in person at the Syracuse Crunch Office located at the War Memorial Arena on 800 South State Street in Syracuse, The Carrier Dome Box Office or by calling (315) 473- 4444 and at all Ticketmaster outlets.
The Crunch will return from a three-game road trip to host the Rocheseter Americans on Friday, Oct. 31 at 7 p.m. Single game and season tickets for the 2014-15 season are on sale now and can be purchased either in person at the Crunch Box Office located at the War Memorial on 800 South State Street in Syracuse, or by calling the office at (315) 473-4444.
