Hamilton Bulldogs News Release

The Hamilton Bulldogs started their 2014-15 home schedule with a pair of overtime losses to the Toronto Marlies and Rockford IceHogs this past weekend, but the 'Dogs will have ample opportunity to get back in the win column this coming weekend when they will face their first of four three-game-in-three-days stretches of the season.

On Friday, Oct. 24, the Bulldogs will renew acquaintances with provincial rivals, the Toronto Marlies (American Hockey League affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs), at Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto, Ont. at 7 p.m. The match will be the second of 12 contests between the 'Dogs and Marlies in 2014-15. Last Friday, Hamilton fell to Toronto 3-2 in overtime. Last season, the Bulldogs were 6-6-0-0 against the Marlies.

On Saturday, Oct. 25 and Sunday, Oct. 26, the 'Dogs will host the San Antonio Rampage (AHL affiliate of the Florida Panthers) at FirstOntario Centre in the first two of four matchups between the clubs this season. Saturday's game is set for 7 p.m., while Sunday's contest will start at 3 p.m. Last season, Hamilton was 3-1-0-0 in four games against San Antonio.
