Marc Anthony to Perform National Anthem at Nu Stadium's Opener

Inter Miami CF News Release
MIAMI - Inter Miami CF announced today that global superstar singer, songwriter, producer, and actor, Marc Anthony, will perform the National Anthem at our historic first home game at Nu Stadium this Saturday, April 4 (7:30 p.m. ET kick off, Apple TV).
The evening will mark the start of a new chapter in Inter Miami history, fueled by the motto that drives the Club and reflects the aspirations of its owners, Freedom to Dream. For Jorge and Jose Mas, it symbolizes their family's pursuit of a better life as exiles from Cuba, a story shared by many across South Florida.
For David Beckham, meanwhile, it represents the realization of the dream of establishing a franchise which began in 2007 when he joined MLS as a player, followed by the journey to bring top flight fútbol back to South Florida, and ultimately developing the Club's state-of-the-art new and permanent home in the heart of Miami.
Marc Anthony is one of the most influential musical artists of his time. Born Marco Antonio MunÃÆiÃÂz to Puerto Rican parents in New York City, he is the best-selling salsa artist of all time and a true ambassador of Latin music and culture. As he enters his fourth decade as a recording artist, he has dozens of gold and platinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), has had over 114 #1 chart hits worldwide, racked up more than 12 billion views on YouTube, over 20 billion streams across all platforms. Known for his intense, soaring voice and his dramatic concert performances, he's one of the most prolific touring artists in the music industry, with many entries in Pollstar's Global Top Grossing Concert Tours lists.
With the salsa legend having deeply rooted ties to our Club, with close friend and co-owner Beckham even having the translation of Inter Miami's motto, Libertad Para Soñar, tattooed in Anthony's handwriting, it is only fitting that he performs the National Anthem prior to kick off in the first home game at Nu Stadium.
