FC Cincinnati News Release
Fresh off an FIFA International Window that gave FC Cincinnati two weeks between matches, The Orange and Blue are back in action with a trip to Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey, to take on the Red Bull New York!
Kickoff for the match is set for 7:30 p.m., and fans can watch the game on Apple TV and listen locally in English on ESPN 1530 and in Spanish on 101.5 FM La Mega. Let's look at some stats and figures that may factor into this road match, all presented by CTI.

FC Cincinnati had nine players on international duty this week, with all but one leaving North America to join their respective national team sides. Miles Robinson was in Atlanta with the US Men's National Team. Others, like Gerardo "Dado" Valenzuela (U21 USYNT), traveled to South Korea, and Sami Gidi (Slovakia U21) went to Kazakhstan. Three players went to Europe: Bryan Ramirez (Ecuador) to the Netherlands, Pavel Bucha (Czechia) returning home to Prague, and Andrei Chirila (U18 USYNT) to Portugal.
Kévin Denkey and Teenage Hadebe traveled to Africa, with Togo visiting Morocco and Zimbabwe playing in Botswana. Finally, Ademar Chavez and the U17 USYNT played in Paraguay
In all, FC Cincinnati players traveled 95,508 miles round-trip to play with their national teams.

Youth has been the story early in the season for Red Bull New York as first-year head coach Michael Bradley has been unafraid to deploy players, no matter their age. Three of the Red Bulls' leading minutes-getters this season have been 18 years old or younger, and eight of their top 10 in minutes played have been under 24.
Top goal scorer Julian Hall, who has four goals this season in five starts, just turned 18 last week. Fellow teens Adri Mehmeti (16) and Matthew Dos Santos (17) have also logged over 320 minutes each this season.

With Roman Celentano still questionable for the match after missing the last FC Cincinnati game due to injury, Evan Louro has been ready and solid when called upon and could be in line for his 12th start for The Orange and Blue and his third of 2026.
By happenstance, this would also be his third start against his former MLS Club, Red Bull New York, after making a start in each of the previous two seasons against them as well.
The New Jersey native has had standout moments in each of his previous two starts against RBNY. In his first, Louro stopped a penalty kick, and in his second, he earned a clean sheet, his first and only in his MLS career.
In those two starts, Louro has made four saves, but across his time with FCC, the keeper has made 24 saves in just 12 starts.

FC Cincinnati have been one of the best teams in MLS this season at pinged balls from long range, registering 19 accurate long ball passes with a completion percentage of just under 50 percent. The total completed passes ranks tied for fifth in MLS this season (and tied for second in the Eastern Conference) while the completion rate ranks ninth in MLS (and sixth in the East).
In terms of key passers, Bryan Ramirez has stood out as a passer early for FC Cincinnati as the Ecuadorian has completed 163 total passes with a team-high 11 key passes.

While the Red Bull New York have only scored five goals this season, which ranks in the bottom third of the league, it hasn't been for a lack of trying. The Red Bulls lead MLS in both shots and shots on target, with 87 total shots - 13 more than the next best team - and shots on target with 37. The total equals 17.4 shots and 7.4 shots on target per match.
All five of the goals New York has scored have come from inside the box. 60 of New York's 87 shots have also come from inside the box, which, unsurprisingly, is the most in the league as well.
