FC Cincinnati head north of the border Saturday night to take on CF Montréal. Kickoff on September 26 from Stade Saputo is set for 7:30 p.m. ET and the match airs globally on Apple TV. The Official English Radio home of FC Cincinnati, iHeart Media ESPN 1530 and the official Spanish Radio home - La Mega 101.5 FM - will broadcast the match.

The Orange and Blue (8-8-9, 33 points) seek a season sweep over Montréal (5-15-6, 21 points) after earning a dramatic 4-3 win back in March. After going down a man and down a goal, Cincinnati rallied back with goals from Tom Barlow in the 80th minute and Kévin Denkey in stoppage time to earn a hard-fought three points.

FC CINCINNATI ALL-TIME AGAINST CF MONTRÉAL

FC Cincinnati lead the all-time series against CF Montréal, 8-4-2. Cincinnati's eight all-time wins against Montréal are the club's second-most MLS wins against any one opponent (Toronto FC, 9). FCC have scored 34 goals against Montréal and hold an all-time +11 goal differential against the club, both of which are bests for FCC in MLS play, all-time.

FC CINCINNATI NOTES

High-Scoring Battles - Saturday marks the 15th all-time meeting between FC Cincinnati and CF Montréal. Only three of the 14 all-time meetings between the clubs have featured fewer than three combined goals. Three matches in the head-to-head have featured a final scoreline of 4-3, including the first meeting of 2026 on March 22 at TQL Stadium.

FC Cincinnati's wild 4-3 win over CF Montréal in March marked FCC's first win in club history when trailing and going down to 10 men. After Miles Robinson was shown a red card in the 60th minute, but FCC would erase a 3-2 deficit and score twice afterwards (Barlow 80', Denkey 90'+4). In total on the day, FCC trailed on three separate occasions but came back to win, marking a first in club history.

High-Scoring FC Cincinnati - Across all competitions this season, FC Cincinnati have scored 77 goals. With at least nine matches to go, FCC approach club records for goals scored in a season in all competitions (All-Time: 81 in 2018 when club was in USL; 79 in 2023, most in club's MLS era).

Cardiac Cincinnati - Twenty-one of FC Cincinnati's 33 points this season have come in matches in which FC Cincinnati trailed at some point in the match. Additionally, FC Cincinnati's 16 points in matches when conceding the first goal lead MLS.

Three times FC Cincinnati scored a game-winning goal in stoppage time (March 22 vs MTL; May 2 at CHI; August 19 vs NYC), and in two of those games, Cincinnati were down to 10 men when scoring the go-ahead goal, notably the first matchup with Montréal (March 22 vs MTL; May 2 at CHI).

Five other times this season FC Cincinnati have equalized in stoppage time to earn a draw (April 11 at TOR; April 22 at NYC - scored twice; May 16 at SD; September 12 vs CLT; September 19 at HOU). The five stoppage-time equalizers are the most by a team in a single season in MLS history.

FC Cincinnati's have gained 14 points this season from goals scored in stoppage time. Per Elias Sports, the 14 points earned in such games are the second-most in a season in MLS history behind the 2012 San Jose Earthquakes (18 points).

Welcome Officially, David - For the first time, Czech international David Douděra is available for selection Saturday after obtaining his P-1 Visa. Acquired at the summer transfer window from SK Slavia Prague, Douděra made nearly 350 professional appearances over the past 10 seasons in Europe and started one match for the Czech National Team at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Six Away For International Duty - Six FC Cincinnati first-team players will represent their country during the FIFA September/ October window: Miles Robinson (United States), Pavel Bucha (Czechia), Kévin Denkey (Togo), Andrei Chirila (United States U19), Connor Dale (United States U17) and Samuel Gidi (Slovakia U21), although Gidi will be available for selection Saturday before departing.

CF Montréal host this weekend's match after losing their last five regular-season matches and not winning at home since May 9. Though CF Montréal sits in last place in the Eastern Conference and are on the verge of elimination from the MLS Cup Playoffs, their season is far from over. Last week, CFM advanced to the final of the Canadian Championship with a 3-2 aggregate victory over Vancouver Whitecaps, punching their ticket to the cup final in three weeks.

Montréal come into Saturday hampered by injury and the international break, but will still have their towering forward Prince Owusu, who leads CF Montréal this season with 13 goals and has added five assists to his tally, including two goals scored in the first matchup between the sides earlier this year. A staggering 58 percent of all goals scored this season have flowed through him this year.

The other notable name in the attack is recent addition and Chilean 37-year-old veteran star Alexis Sánchez, who has now made seven appearances and three starts for the side since joining as a free agent. The star winger, nicknamed "El Niño Maravilla" (The Wonderboy), is a global superstar who has played at the highest levels, making his name known with Arsenal, Manchester United, Inter Milan and Barcelona, and is the highest-scoring player in the history of Chilean football.

CF Montréal is currently managed by Interim Head Coach Philippe Eullaffroy, who took over as manager in April after the dismissal of Marco Donadel. Eullaffroy was an assistant on the staff before his interim appointment.
