
Manning Earns Player Of The Week Honors

Fraser, MI â Motor City Mechanics captain Blair Manning was selected as the United Hockey League's Player of the Week for the week of February 21-27. This is the first UHL Player of the Week honor for the Mechanics this season.
Manning started the week off strong, tallying a hat trick and adding an assist in a 5-2 win over the Kalamazoo Wings on Wednesday. In Saturday's game at Quad City, Manning contributed three assists and added his fifth assist of the week on Sunday against the Missouri River Otters.
Manning is one of only two Mechanics to play in all 60 games so far this season. Brandon Fleenor is the other. Leading the Mechanics with 51 points on the season (15g, 36a), Manning scored 14 points in 14 games during the month of February.
The Mechanics are home Friday, March 4th vs. Quad City and Saturday, March 5th vs. Missouri. Tickets still remain for all upcoming home games!
