MANCHESTER, N.H.: The Manchester Monarchs are proud to announce they have partnered with Catholic Medical Center (CMC) to host Pink in the Rink on Saturday, February 9, 2019 as the team takes on the Cincinnati Cyclones with a 6:00pm puck drop.
The annual event will support CMC's Breast Care Center through various fundraising events supported through the Monarchs Care Foundation. A pre-game ceremony will take place at center ice as the Monarchs honor those who have battled breast cancer. During the game, Monarchs players will wear specially designed pink jerseys which will be raffled off along with a 50/50 raffle during the game.
"We are excited to host this annual event with CMC, one of the team's longest running corporate partners," said Brian Cheek, Monarchs President and CEO. "Pink in the Rink is such a great night. There's a lot of positive energy in the arena that night - it's a really special evening for all of us."
"In the fight against breast cancer, no one fights alone," said Dr. Jessica Ryan, Medical Director, CMC's Breast Care Center.
"Pink in the Rink is such a special event the Monarchs host for breast cancer survivors and CMC's Breast Care Center. The evening is really about hope and support. We are excited not only to use the evening to honor breast cancer survivors, but for education purposes as well."
