Mallards Close Regular Season Saturday

MOLINE, Ill. - The Quad City Mallards will close the regular season with a Darren McMillan bobblehead giveaway presented by KWQC-TV6 Saturday night when the Mallards host the Cincinnati Cyclones at 7:05 p.m. in the Season Finale presented by JumpOnIt. This weekend also brings the season's final $1 Dog/$1 Beer Night presented by 97X when the Mallards meet the Cyclones Friday evening at 7:05 p.m. at the iWireless Center.

The first 1,000 fans through the doors Saturday night will receive McMillan bobblehead dolls in honor of the club's long serving captain. McMillan, who turns 36 later this month, first joined the Mallards in 2009 and earlier this season became just the third player in team history to play 400 games for the Mallards. McMillan ranks third in club history in career games played.

JumpOnIt, the presenting sponsor of Saturday night's finale, is a mobile couponing source that helps users save money by texting them the best local deals. Fans can text jumponqc to 88678 at any time to receive special area offers including Mallards ticket specials.

After Saturday night's game fans can bid to win the jerseys off the Mallards' backs. The orange third jerseys worn by the Mallards this season will go up for bid in a live auction.

The Mallards' last Friday home game of the regular season brings the final $1 Dog/$1 Beer Night presented by 97X. The Mallards have partnered with Metro to provide transit service between Augustana College and downtown Moline for all Friday home dates. As part of Metro's unlimited ride program, Augustana riders can use their Augustana ID as their fare. Mallards fans can also take advantage of the team's safe ride alternative, Uber, and get their first ride free (up to $20). First time Uber users can use the code qcmallards16.

The Mallards have instituted reduced "Playoff Push" pricing for prime sections and made additional $10 tickets available for their remaining home games. Fans can now purchase seats in four center ice sections- 103, 104, 114 and 115- for just $24- down from $28- or get four tickets in those areas for the family-friendly price of $80. The Mallards have also increased the number $10 upper level tickets available for the remainder of the regular season.

Single game tickets for both of this weekend's games are on sale now at the iWireless Center box office, Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.com and Ticketmaster charge-by-phone toll free at 1-800-745-3000. The box office is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tickets are available for $10, $16, $20 and $24.
