Lysak Returns to Everblades

Estero, FL - The Florida Everblades President/GM Craig Brush announced today that forward Brett Lysak has been reassigned to the Everblades by their American Hockey League affiliate Lowell Lock Monsters. Lysak has played in 12 games with the Everblades and notched 2 goals and 7 assists for 9 points. He was recalled to Lowell this past Sunday and has played in 53 games and has registered 14 points with the Lock Monsters. Lysak will join the team in time for tonight's 7:30 PM contest in Pee Dee. In related news, the Everblades placed forward Tom Nelson on the 7-Day IR. Nelson has seen action in 6 games and has accumulated three points.

Florida concludes the 2001-02 season on the road beginning with a pair of games this Friday and Saturday night in Pee Dee. Both games begin at 7:30 PM. The Everblades then play in Augusta on Sunday at 4:05 PM to close out the regular season. Friday and Sunday's contests can be heard on Sportsradio 770 AM. Saturday's game can be heard live on 106.3 FM and will NOT be heard on 770 AM due to the Final Four basketball tournament being aired on that station.
