John Brophy's 1000th Career Victory Could Be Tonight

Wheeling, WV â With the Wheeling Nailers' victory over the Reading Royals last night, John Brophy is now at 999 career victories and counting.
The Wheeling Nailers host the Dayton Bombers tonight at 7:30 pm. If the Nailers win, it will be head coach John Brophy's 1000th career victory as a head coach. The only other coach to reach this accomplishment is Scotty Bowman, who is currently the head coach of the NHL's Detroit Red Wings.
Tonight's game will also be Fan Appreciation Night, as prizes donated by Nailers sponsors will be given away to fans throughout the game. Additionally, the first 2,000 fans will receive a Rally Towel courtesy of Dick's Sporting Goods.
A limited number of tickets remain for tonight's game against the Dayton Bombers, however the Nailers will be selling Standing-Room Only tickets. The Wheeling Civic Center Box Office will open at 12:00 noon today.
