SUNRISE, Fla. â Florida Panthers General Manager Rick Dudley announced today that the Panthers have reassigned LW Josh Olson to San Antonio (AHL).
Olson, 22, appeared in five games with the Panthers, recording one point (1-0-1). He scored his first NHL goal in his first NHL game on Mar. 11 in Montreal. The 6-foot-5, 235-pound native of Grand Forks, North Dakota averaged 8:16 of ice time during his first stint in the NHL.
Olson returns to San Antonio where he is the club's third leading goal-scorer with 19 goals and 29 points (19-10-29) in 59 games played.
