--The Wolves ended a four-game home winning streak with a 5-2 loss against the Utah Grizzlies at the Allstate Arena
--Defenseman EVAN NIELSEN notched the first goal of the game, his first of the year
--Right wing JIM CAMPBELL added a power-play goal for the Wolves
--Netminders FREDERIC CASSIVI (23 of 27) and MICHAEL GARNETT (one of two) combined for 24 saves on 29 shots in CASSIVI's first loss in three games

--The Wolves tied the game late in the second period but couldn't edge the San Antonio Rampage in a 2-2 tie at the SBC Center

STEVE MALTAIS: Ranks third in the league with a team-leading 14 power-play goals ... Shares 17th in the AHL with a Wolves-most 53 points in 66 games

ERIC HEALEY: Shares fifth in the league with a club-high 30 goals and fifth in the AHL with 11 power-play goals ... Ranks second on the Wolves with 50 points in 68 games this season

KARL STEWART: Shares second among league rookies and first on the Wolves with 30 assists ... Ranks ninth among AHL first-year pros and fourth on Chicago with 38 points in 62 games ... Ranks fourth among league rookies and shares first on the club with a +19 plus/minus rating

GREG HAWGOOD: Posted two assists in three games last week ... Ranks third on the Wolves with 28 assists ... Shares 13th among AHL blueliners with 33 points in 68 games

ZDENEK BLATNY: Recorded an assist in two of his three games last week ... Notched eight points (2G, 6A) in his last nine games after posting just two (2A) in his previous nine contests ... Ranks fifth on the Wolves with 22 assists and sixth on the club with 31 points in 51 games

WOLF TRACKS


--The Wolves have earned at least one point in 19 of their last 23 home games, which includes four of their last five.
--Three of the four teams to have clinched a playoff berth reside in the West Division, which includes the league-leading Milwaukee Admirals and second-ranked Grand Rapids Griffins.
--Chicago ranks second in the AHL with an average of 3.01 goals per game.
--The Wolves have tallied at least one power-play goal in 12 of their last 14 games, accumulating 16 altogether during that span.
--Chicago shares fourth in the league on the power play at 17.0 percent (64 of 376).

PLAYOFF PICTURE

The Wolves clinched their 10th consecutive playoff berth on Saturday. Chicago has posted an all-time postseason record of 67-47 (.588), which includes winning the 1998 and 2000 Turner Cups and the 2002 Calder Cup.

NOTABLE

The Wolves will honor the memory of Dan Snyder on Sat., March 27, when they host the Milwaukee Admirals. The team will wear Snyder's No. 19 warm-up jerseys to be auctioned during the game to raise funds for charities in honor of Snyder. The Wolves will also present their award for community service ­ renamed the Dan Snyder Man of the Year Award ­ prior to the start of the game. The first 5,000 fans will receive a commemorative picture of Snyder.
