Lumberkings fall to Cougars

A rough month of June for Clinton John Bannister (4-7; 4.84 overall) continued as the Cougars jumped on the right hander for four runs on six hits and a pair of walks in six innings.

Bannister started the year by going 2-1 with a 2.54 ERA in April, but has suffered through a (1-2 record with a 7.71 ERA this month. The Midwest League hit .221 against him in April. They're hitting .338 against him in June.

Billy Susdorf doubled in a 3-4 outing to drive in a run to highlight a meager offensive showing by the L-Kings lineup.
