Cedar Rapids Kernels News Release
Saturday night's game between the Peoria Chiefs and Cedar Rapids Kernels has been postponed due to unplayable conditions on the field.
The game has been rescheduled as part of a double-header on Sunday, June 26th starting at 2 pm with the gates opening at 1 pm. Two 7-innings games will be played.
Fans holding tickets for Saturday's game may exchange them at the Kernel Ticket Office for any future Kernel game in the 2005 season. The only exceptions would be if you had tickets on the Miller Mezzanine or Randy Kuehl Honfidence Pavilion; those tickets CAN NOT be exchanged. The Kernel Ticket Office opens at 10 am on Sunday.
Skyy Dogs USA and Rockin' Ray will be on hand to entertain fans on Sunday as well as the Kernels Third Annual Bark in the Park, where fans can bring their dog to the game. After Sunday, the Kernels will be on the road at Peoria until June 30th.
