LANSING, Mich. - The Lansing Lugnuts and Great Lakes Loons were postponed for a second consecutive evening, this time due to inclement weather.

The teams will make up the scheduled season-opening games as part of doubleheaders on June 13th and 15th at Cooley Law School Stadium. Time of first pitch for either twinbill has not yet been announced.

The series now shifts to Great Lakes' Dow Diamond for 2:05 p.m. games on Saturday and Sunday.

This postponements have provided déjà vu for both squads: the Loons needed to have their first three games of 2015 rescheduled, with the same befalling the Lugnuts four years earlier.

Fans possessing tickets to Thursday night's game may exchange those tickets at the stadium box office for tickets of equal or lesser value to a Lugnuts game in 2016. (Exception: The Lugnuts' 4th of July contest against Dayton is ineligible for exchange.)

The Lansing Lugnuts return home on Monday, just in time for the weather to warm in Mid Michigan, starting a three-game series with the Dayton Dragons. To purchase tickets to this series or any Lugnuts game in 2016, stop by the Cooley Law School Stadium box office, call (517) 485-4500 or visit lansinglugnuts.com.
