GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Home Opener is almost here for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers! The Midwest League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers will host the Beloit Snappers in a brief, two-game series at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium on April 9 and April 10. The series may be short, but it will be stuffed with giveaways, promotions, and a special guest to throw out a ceremonial first pitch on Saturday afternoon.

Both games will feature a giveaway of a magnet schedule for the 2016 Timber Rattlers season made possible by Neuroscience Group.

The full promotional menu follows:

- SATURDAY, APRIL 9 at 4:05pm; HOME OPENER! Fang & Whiffer All-Fan Bobblehead Giveaway presented by Dairy Queen and Pepsi; North Shore Bank Family Day; Kids Run the Bases presented by Tundraland: Every fan to attend the 2016 Home Opener will receive a special double bobblehead that features Timber Rattlers mascots Fang and Whiffer courtesy of Dairy Queen and Pepsi. They may be running against each other in the #VoteFang or #VoteWhiffer campaign this year, but they are together on this fun collectable. Before the game Green Bay Phoenix head coach Linc Darner will toss a ceremonial first pitch to celebrate his team's Horizon League Tournament Championship and NCAA tournament appearance. After the game, children 12 and under may run the bases courtesy of Tundraland.

- SUNDAY, APRIL 10 at 1:05pm; Brewers Sunday with Rasmussen College & 107.5, The Fan; Catch on the Field; Player Autographs; High School Tug-A-War: You will want to get to the stadium to check out the pre-game Tug-A-War competition between area high school teams. Fans may play catch on-field courtesy of Rasmussen College starting at noon. Timber Rattlers players and coaches will wear their special Brewers Sunday jerseys in this game for the first time this season. Players will be available for a postgame autograph session sponsored by Tundraland.

Full season, partial season, and group ticket packages are currently available for the 2016 season. Tickets packages are available online, over the phone at (920) 733-4152 or (800) WI-TIMBER and in person. Groups of 20 or more may order tickets over the phone or in person. Individual game tickets for the 2016 are on sale now. The Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium Box Office is open from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
