Great Lakes Loons News Release

LANSING, Mich. - Friday's season-opening doubleheader at Cooley Law School Stadium between the Great Lakes Loons and Lansing Lugnuts has been rescheduled due to impending inclement weather. With major snow fall and decreasing temperatures in the forecast, both teams will head to Midland with the hope of better conditions this weekend.

The games will be made up on June 13 and 15, the next time the Loons return to Lansing. Both days will feature doubleheaders, with start times still to be determined.

Opening Day at Dow Diamond will be Saturday with a 2:05 p.m. first pitch against the Lugnuts. Festivities will kick off at 10 a.m. with the Loons 5K Pennant Race, followed by the Opening Day Parade at 12 p.m. Gates will open at 1 p.m.

All Loons games during the 2016 season can be heard on ESPN 100.9-FM, the Loons flagship radio station, while all 70 home games can also be seen on MiLB.TV.

The Great Lakes Loons have been a Single-A partner of the Los Angeles Dodgers since the team's inception in 2007 and are in their 10th season in 2016. For tickets and more information about the Loons, call 989-837-BALL or visit Loons.com.
