Bees and Chiefs Postponed Due to Winds

(Burlington-IA) - The homestand finale between the Burlington Bees and the Peoria Chiefs has been postponed due to heavy winds and frigid temperatures.

Winds gusting up to 40 miles per hour, in Burlington, throughout the day, causing Friday night's home stand finale with the Peoria Chiefs to be postponed. The two teams will make up the game in June when the Peoria Chiefs visit Burlington prior to the All-Star break.

The Bees hit the road for the first time in 2016 when they head to Peoria on Saturday night for a quick two game road trip. First pitch is scehduled for 6:00 pm.
