Lugnuts and Hot Rods Suspended in 1st, Two Games Set for Sunday

LANSING, Mich. - The Lansing Lugnuts (24-29) and Bowling Green Hot Rods (32-23) were suspended due to rain in the middle of the first inning on Saturday night at Cooley Law School Stadium.
The game will be continued on Sunday at 12:00 noon on a Delta Dental Kids Day - Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with the Lugnuts wearing special TMNT-inspired uniforms. Lugnuts 1-2-3 hitters Reggie Pruitt, Nick Podkul and Griffin Conine will start up the action in the bottom of the first with the Hot Rods leading, 1-0, thanks to a home run from Wander Franco.
30 minutes after the game concludes, the regularly scheduled game will be played between Bowling Green and Lansing, wrapping up the three-game series.
Fans possessing tickets to Saturday night's game may turn in those tickets in person at the Cooley Law School Stadium box office for tickets of equal or lesser value to a future Lugnuts game this season.
