
Lowry Wins WHL Scholastic Player Of The Year

Calgary, AB---Swift Current Broncos' forward Adam Lowry has won the WHL's Daryl "Doc" Seaman Scholastic Player of the Year Award.
Lowry, from Calgary had 15 goals and 34 points in 61 games in his rookie season as a 16 year old with the Broncos. Lowry is the first Bronco to win the Scholastic Player of the Year Award since Ashley Buckberger won in 1992.
Lowry had a 92.2% average at the Swift Current Comprehensive High School this past year. Lowry was a finalist against the Kelowna Rockets' Spencer Main.
