Regina Pats News Release

Edmonton, Alberta - For the fourth time in the history of the Regina Pats Hockey Club, one of its players has been named The Western Hockey League Player of the Year. At the WHL Awards banquet this afternoon in Edmonton, Jordan Eberle was awarded the "Four Broncos Memorial Trophy", recognizing the WHL top player.

In just 57 games this season, Eberle was second in WHL scoring with 106 points and was also second in goals with 50. He was the first Pat player to hit the 50 goal plateau since Ronald Petrovicky scored 64 in 1997-98.

Eberle was also a unanimous pick as a 1st team Eastern Conference all-star for the second time in his career (the first was in 2007-08).
