
LoVerde Returns to Reign

Ontario Reign News Release
ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, defending Pacific Division Champions, and proud affiliate of the NHL's 2012 Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings, announced the return of defenseman Vincent LoVerde to the Reign roster.
After spending 11 games in the American Hockey League with the Reign's AHL affiliate, Manchester Monarchs, the 23-year-old is back on the Reign's blue line. He earned his first AHL point, an assist, with the Monarchs on November 30. This was LoVerde's first stint in the AHL.
Prior to his call-up, LoVerde recorded 6 points (4g, 2a) in 12 games and registered 29 shots on goal with the Reign. The Chicago, Ill. native made his professional debut with the Reign last season and posted 24 points (5g, 19a) and a team-high +13 in 64 games.
Reign Drops:
The Reign will begin their three-game homestand this weekend when they play host to the Bakersfield Condors on Friday, Dec. 7 at 7:00 p.m. This is a Hooters Free Boneless Wing Friday! Saturday kicks off Ontario's two-game series against the Idaho Steelheads. Saturday, Dec. 8 at 6:00 p.m. the Reign will host their 3rd Annual Teddy Bear Toss brought to you by Unleash Solar, Boy Scout Night, and Donation Drive for Goodwill. The Reign are looking to collect more teddy bears and stuffed animals than ever before so the team is asking fans to bring as many as they can carry, so when the Reign score their first goal of the night they can be tossed onto the ice. On Sunday, Dec. 9 the Reign will close the three-game weekend and their series against the Steelheads at 3:00 p.m. Immediately following the game the entire team will be at Boston's (located at 11260 4th Street, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730) to take pictures, sign autographs, and meet fans.
