Idaho Steelheads News Release

Boise, ID (12/5/12) - Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Brad Ralph announced Wednesday that the ECHL's Idaho Steelheads have received defenseman Patrick Cullity from the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.

In a separate transaction, forward Jacob Cepis has been traded from Idaho to the Trenton Titans in exchange for future considerations.

Cullity signed an AHL-level contract with the Falcons on November 23 and spent the past ten days with the team. He appeared in two games with Springfield before being reassigned to Idaho, where he spent the first fifteen games of the season. He is expected to be with the team and in the lineup Friday night when Idaho travels to Las Vegas.

The Steelheads put their 14-5-2 record on the line this weekend with games at Las Vegas (Friday) and Ontario (Saturday/Sunday). The team's next home game is Wednesday, December 12, against the Western Conference-leading Alaska Aces. The Aces currently lead Idaho by just two points for the distinction of the top team in the west.

Partial-season ticket plans are still available, including the 20-voucher "Flex Plan," starting at just $249 per plan. Fans receive 20 vouchers redeemable at their convenience for any game during the regular season with lower-bowl and upper-bowl options. Contact the Steelheads front office at 383-0080 for more information or visit the team's website at www.idahosteelheads.com .
