Henry Urrutia had two hits and an RBI and Chris Jones turned in a solid start, but Norfolk was edged by the Louisville Bats 3-2 Wednesday night at Harbor Park.

Jones (6-6) took the tough-luck loss after allowing three runs on six hits in 6.0 innings of work. The 26-year-old southpaw walked one and struck out seven but yielded single runs in the first, fifth and sixth frames as Norfolk dropped its second consecutive contest. Jones, who now owns a 3.08 ERA and nine Quality Starts this season, has allowed three earned runs or less in 21 of his last 22 starts dating back to the 2014 campaign.

Urrutia paced Norfolk's offense with two hits and a sacrifice fly, while Rey Navarro added a double, single and a run scored. Urrutia's two-hit effort was his 33rd multi-hit game of the season and upped his average to .287, 7th-best among O's minor leaguers. Navarro has hit safely in 21 of his last 26 games, over which he's hit .346 (27-107) with eight doubles and 23 runs scored.

Donn Roach (2-1) earned the win for Louisville, as he scattered six hits and allowed one earned run over seven frames. Carlos Contreras worked a scoreless eighth inning before giving way to Collin Balester, who pitched a scoreless ninth to register his fifth save of the season.

With the loss, the Tides (64-46) have lost back-to-back games for the first time since the All-Star break.

The two clubs wrap up their season series Thursday afternoon at Harbor Park, with first pitch slated for 12:05. Elih Villanueva (1-1, 6.53) gets the start for Norfolk and will be opposed by right-hander Matt Buschmann (8-9, 4.05).
