Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs look for their third straight win when they take on the Toledo Mud Hens on Wednesday night. First pitch from Fifth Third Field is set for 7:00 p.m.

RHP Sean O'Sullivan (0-1, 5.50) gets the ball for the IronPigs on Wednesday night. O'Sullivan was tagged with the loss vs. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Wednesday when he gave up seven runs (six earned) on eight hits to go along with three walks and a strikeout over five plus innings. The San Diego native will be making his second start of the season against the Mud Hens. Back on July 23 at Coca-Cola Park, O'Sullivan got a no-decision after allowing three runs on seven hits while fanning six in 7.0 IP.

RHP Luis Cessa (0-3, 8.51 with Triple-A Las Vegas) will be making his IL debut for the Mud Hens. His last outing in the PCL came on Thursday at Sacramento when he surrendered four runs on eight hits to go along with a walk and seven strikeouts in his five innings of work. Cessa was acquired by the Tigers as part of the trade that sent OF Yoenis Cespedes to the Mets on Friday. The right-hander was ranked as the No. 16 prospect in the NYM system prior to the trade.

With a pair of three-hit games on Monday and Tuesday, Pigs OF Brian Bogusevic has recorded consecutive multi-hit contests for the first time since May 12th and 13th vs. the Columbus Clippers.
