Dayton, Ohio - Scott Schebler collected four hits and Kevin Taylor hit a three-run home run as the Great Lakes Loons defeated the Dayton Dragons 14-3 on Saturday. A crowd of 9,129 saw the game at Fifth Third Field.

Great Lakes broke open a close game with a six-run fifth inning. Leading 2-1 to start the inning, the Loons knocked Dragons starting pitcher Radhames Quezada out of the game and then Taylor hit the first pitch from reliever El'Hajj Muhammad for a three-run home run to break the game open. Great Lakes added four more runs in the sixth to build a 10-1 lead.

Quezada (1-5) was charged with the loss. He worked four and one-third innings, allowing five hits and six runs (five earned) with two walks and two strikeouts.

The Dragons finished with seven hits. Ryan Wright led the attack, going 2 for 4 with a double and two runs batted in.

Great Lakes finished with 14 hits. Noel Cuevas belted a solo home run in the ninth inning.

The Dragons host the Loons again on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Fifth Third Field. Tanner Robles (2-3, 2.89) will start for Dayton against Great Lakes' Gustavo Gomez (4-2, 3.66). The series concludes Monday at 7:00 p.m. in Dayton.
