The Birmingham Barons (19-28) stepped on the gas pedal and didn't look back, flying past the Lookouts (24-22) 11-7.

RHP Jordan Johnson struggled early as he gave up five earned runs, leading to his sixth loss of the year.

Barons third baseman Ti'Quan Forbes had a key double in the fourth inning to open the floodgates for the away team, as they widened their lead to 9-2. Although they were down by as many as nine runs, Chattanooga would chip away as they cut the lead to four.

In the loss first baseman Ibandel Isabel slugged a 2-run home run to make it his fourth consecutive game with a dinger. He now leads the Southern League in home runs with 12 and RBIs with 33. Lookouts infielders Brantley Bell, Gavin LaValley, & Calten Daal all collected RBIs on the night, but the team fell short.

The Lookouts will aim to get back on track against the Barons tomorrow at 7: 15 PM.
