
Lombard Shines in Skills Competition

Richmond Renegades News Release
Richmond, VA â Richmond Renegades rookie goalie Dan Lombard was the co-Outstanding Goaltender in last night's ECHL All Star Skills competition in Estero, FL.
Lombard shared the award with Lexington's Mike Smith by stopping five of seven shots in the Breakaway Relay. Lombard's performance help lead the Northern Conference to a 12-9 win in the skills contest. Renegades Jamie Herrington and Jon Zion also participated in the Skills Competition.
Lombard, Zion, and Herrington will play for the Northern Conference in tonight's Compuware ECHL All Star Game starting at 7:30. The game will be broadcast locally on Cat Country 100.3. The game will be available on television to subscribers to the NHL Center Ice package.
The Renegades host Columbia Thursday at 7:05 and Reading Saturday at 7:35. For more information please call the Renegades office at 643-7825.
