July 7, 2010 - Eastern League (EL1)
New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release
The Harrisburg Senators, Double-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, and the Eastern League announced today that outfielder Adam Loewen will be taking the roster spot of teammate Shawn Bowman on the Eastern Division, Eastern League All-Star team.
The move ensures that New Hampshire will remain the league-leader in number of representatives at the Eastern League All-Star Game with six on July 14 in Harrisburg. Loewen will join fellow Fisher Cat outfielders Darin Mastroianni and Eric Thames, pitchers Trystan Magnuson and Kyle Drabek, as well as catcher Brian Jeroloman.
Other All-Star roster moves recently announced are as follows. For the Eastern Division, RHP Josh Schmidt (Trenton) is taking the place of teammate RHP Lance Pendleton, who is attending, but unable to pitch. Also, RHP Drew Naylor (Reading) is now on the squad over Michael Schwimmer (Reading), who has been promoted to AAA.
For the Western Division, RHP Paolo Espino (Akron) has been added to the roster, taking the place of RHP Bryce Stowell (Akron), who has been promoted to AAA . RHP Clayton Tanner (Richmond) was also a late addition, taking the place of RHP Daryl Maday (Richmond), who got the call up to AAA as well.
