
Lightning Recall Cedric Paquette from Syracuse

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning have recalled forward Cedric Paquette from the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League today, vice president and general manager Steve Yzerman announced. Additionally, forward Mike Blunden has been reassigned to the Crunch.
Paquette, 21, has skated in four games with the Crunch so far this season, posting three goals and five points to go along with a team-high plus-5 rating. He leads all Syracuse skaters for goals and is tied for first on the club for points. The 6-foot-1, 199-pound forward recorded a two-goal game on October 12 against Hartford.
The Gaspe, Quebec native has skated in two career regular season NHL games, all with the Lightning last season, collecting one assist. Paquette also appeared in all four of the Lightning's 2014 postseason games, recording a pair of assists to go along with 16 penalty minutes.
Blunden, 27, made his Lightning debut on Tuesday night against the Calgary Flames, logging 10:09 in time on ice. He led all Lightning skaters for hits in the game with three. The 6-foot-3, 214-pound forward has played in four games this season with the Crunch, recording two goals and three points.
