The IronPigs (8-7) play Game 2 of a three-game series against the Pawtucket Red Sox (10-6) at McCoy Stadium. With a 6-5 loss last night, the Pigs snapped their three-game winning streak and have now dropped five in a row to Pawtucket going back to 2015. Still, the Pigs have won six of their last eight contests and have started 3-1 on this nine-game, eight-day, North Division road trip... The Red Sox -- Boston's top affiliate -- has now won eight of their last nine games to take a 1.5-game lead in the North. Their surge started with a 13-1 win at Coca-Cola Park on April 14 (they began 2-5) and has included sweeping a pair of two-game sets in Allentown and Buffalo before taking three-of-four at Rochester.

RHP Mark Appel (2-0, 0.77) will start for LHV against RHP Keith Couch (4-10, 6.14 in 2015).
